The Barry Awards

The Barry Award er en kriminallitterær pris som utdeles årlig siden 1997 av redaksjonen i Deadly Pleasures, en amerikansk kvartalsvis publikasjon for krimlesere. Fra 2007 utdeles prisen i samarbeide med publikasjonen Mystery News. Prisen har fått navn etter Barry Gardner, en amerikansk kritiker.

Prisklassene har variert, men var i 2006:

• Beste krimroman
• Best britiske krimroman
• Beste thriller
• Beste krimroman originalutgitt som paperback
• Beste debutroman
• Beste krimnovelle

Merk at «beste britiske krimroman» i denne sammenhengen gjelder beste krimroman først utgitt på engelsk i Storbritannia og ikke viser tilbake på forfatterens nasjonalitet.
