Mary Moreland who drew the plates would later become Rev. Buckland's wife. These were some of the very few bones from which Richard Owen would base his reconstruction of Megalosaurus for Waterhouse Hawkins' Crystal Palace reconstructions in 1854. The jaw is still on display in the Oxford Museum.
