Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is a skateboarding game that released on the Nintendo Switch. It is a HD remake of the first two games in the Tony Hawk's series. It includes features from later entries as well such as reverts, wall plants and the ability to switch between trick types in a sequence.

Gameplay[]

The game is an arcade score attack where the player skateboards in various locations. The goal is combine various skateboard tricks in a combo that increases with the more complex tricks. The game allows for tricks that were not in the original but, this can be disabled.

In career mode, completing each location's goals earns the player money and then the opportunity to compete at various major competitions. Each location's goals usually involve achieving a high score, completing location-based maneuvers like clearing special gaps, and collecting the special collectibles like the secret tape. The competitions are more straightforward with the goal of getting the most points in a short time frame to beat the competition.

Roster[]

The game includes all the professional skaters from the original game as their current age as well as including several new skaters from recent years. These new skaters were selected while keeping in mind gender and ethnic diversity such as the inclusion of transgender skater, Leo Baker. Additionally, there are 3 characters not based on real people. The player can create their own character as well.
