The New Tetris is a Nintendo 64 video game published by Nintendo and developed by H2O Entertainment, the developers of the acclaimed Tetrisphere, which was also released on the Nintendo 64. The game was more similar to the original Tetris than Tetrisphere was, though it added many new elements that weren't present in other versions. The game brings back the award winning composer Neil D. Voss to create the music for this game. He also did the music for Tetrisphere.
Gameplay[]
The New Tetris features a four player multiplayer mode. In it, players would compete to see who could last for the longest time. If a player deleted a large amount of blocks from the field, garbage blocks would fall on the other players' play fields, thus raising their tower. In single player mode, you'll be able to go by famous world monuments once you reach a certain amount of blocks destroyed.
