Stone Taluses are a type of Talus, large Golem-like creatures that serves as Bosses in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They are the weakest type of Boss Talus and can be encountered as early as the Great Plateau.

Behavior[]

Stone Talus spend most of their time hidden as various stone structures lying on the ground. When Link gets near them, the Stone Tallus will form his body from the rubble and start attacking Link. Their body is completely invulnerable aside from a single node found on their back. The Stone Talus can launch its arms at Link and regrow them by taking other boulders from the ground. They can also slam their entire body on the ground if Link gets too close of its legs. Link can use a Bomb Arrow on the node to cause massive damage and make the Stone Talus fall over. He can also blow his arms up with a Remote Bomb created by his Rune, which will make him fall over. When the Stone Talus is on the ground, Link can climb its body to reach the node and attack it with his regular weapons. The Stone Talus can drop various Material, mostly Flint, Amber, Ruby and Opal. It has 300 health.
