The Stalchampion is a gigantic Stalfos that serves as the boss of the Desert Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes. The Stalchampion is fought on a stone platform in the middle of desert quicksand and will mainly try to eject the Links by using the giant mace that serves as its left hand.

The weak spot of the Stalchampion is the core located inside its rib cage. To cause damage to the Stalchampion, the Link must team up to avoid its attacks while attacking it in the back with either a Sword or a Boomerang. The Stalchampion will then be knocked out of balance and start hopping around the arena on a foot. If it is hit again in this state, the Stalchampion will fall apart and the orb will be within range.
After taking enough damage, the Stalchambion will start creating shockwaves to try to eject the Links in the quicksand and use one of its rib as a boomerang. Once its life was lowered enough, it will abandon its body and turn into a floating skull, which now holds the core inside it while the mace is following the Links by rolling on the ground. The skull can be damaged by using the Boomerang and after a few more hit, the Stalchampion will be defeated.
