Shantae: Risky's Revenge is a DSiWare video game by WayForward. Released on October 4, 2010 in North America for 1,200 Nintendo Points (the most expensive video game available on DSiWare), Shantae: Risky's Revenge is the revival of the Shantae franchise that got its start on the Game Boy Color. The features enhanced graphics, new moves and plenty of new features. Players who have the DSiWare game, Mighty Flip Champs, can receive exclusive items by visiting the Import Shop in Risky's Revenge.
A sequel was released in 2014 called Shantae and the Pirate's Curse for the Wii U and later other consoles.
The Wii U got a Director's Cut version in 2016.
