Seth Aaron Rogen (born April 15, 1982) is an Canadian-American actor, comedian, writer, director, and producer. He known for his directorial work on This is the End and The Interview, and for starring in movies including Kung Fu Panda (alongside Jack Black), Horton Hears a Who!, The Green Hornet, Sausage Party, and the 2019 remake of The Lion King.
Donkey Kong[]
On September 23, 2021, during a Nintendo Direct presentation, Rogen was revealed to be voicing Donkey Kong in The Super Mario Bros. Movie co-produced by Illumination. On March 30, 2023, Seth Rogen appeared on a social media post by the official The Super Mario Bros. Movie account reacting to the DK Rap, citing it as "objectively one of the worst rap songs of all time," and rating it "ten out of ten bananas";[1] he revealed that the song is Donkey Kong's introduction theme in the film, and despite his criticisms, he concluded "An iconic song, an iconic dance, an iconic crew, an iconic moment in time."
A spin-off film focused on the Donkey Kong series is reported to be in development at Illumination, with Seth Rogen set to reprise his voice role as the character.[2][3][4]
