Saria is a town in western Hyrule in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Like in other towns in the game, there are citizens that gives advice and heals Link.
The town of Saria was also the setting of "Trust Me", a Legend of Zelda comic story published as part of the Nintendo Comics System.
Saria, the Sage of Forest in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, was named after this town, though in-universe, the town was more likely named after her.
Trivia[]
- In the Japanese Famicom release of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, a grave can be found in the town that reads "The hero Loto rests here.", a reference to Loto from Dragon Quest III.[1]
