Maaya Sakamoto (born March 31, 1980) is a Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer. Sakamoto is most notable by the video game community as Aerith Gainsborough in Final Fantasy VII. Sakamoto is married to fellow voice actor Kenichi Suzumura, who also had contributions with Nintendo.
