Harth is one of the characters from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. He is Teba's childhood friend who works at his family's bow-crafting business. Once Link is able to calm Divine Beast Vah Medoh, Harth will offer to craft a new Great Eagle Bow if he ever loses it or breaks it. Unlike the more reckless Teba, Harth is more cautious and knows when to turn tail when the odds are against him. His only daughter is Molli.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild[]
Harth had lived peacefully in Rito Village with his daughter, Molli and a good friend to Teba. Harth had dreamed of becoming a Rito warrior, but he eventually put it aside when he needed to take over his family business of crafting weapons for the Rito warriors. Peaceful times came to an end when Divine Beast Vah Medoh awakened and terrorized the villagers by shooting at any Rito that approaches it. Ignoring the elder, Kaneli's warnings, Teba and Harth went to take on the corrupted machine, but it didn't end well for them and Harth was shot down and Teba managed to catch him as he was about to plummet and brought back to the village to recover, but Teba returns to the Flight Range to be ready for another assault.
When Link arrives at Rito Village, he meets Harth, who is tending to his injured wing. When asked what was wrong, Harth will brush off his concerns. After being asked a few times, he will reply that is not fine and will express regret over not listening to Kaneli's warnings in the first place. Due to his injured wing, he couldn't move it and hasn't been able to craft any bows, so his business had to close for a time. Once Link speaks to Kaneli, Harth will open up to Link and explains the whole story to him. Divine Beast Vah Medoh was once a protector of Rito Village before it disappeared 100 years ago, but when he and Teba had approached it, it unexpectedly opened fire at them. Harth was so caught off-guard by this that he was slow to react and injured in the process and was badly shaken over what could have happened to him had Teba not caught him when he fell from the sky. Harth doesn't seem to believe Medoh to have been a protector after witnessing its recent behavior, but once he recovers, he plans on taking a lot of Bomb Arrows and take out all of its cannons. When asked about Teba, Harth explains that he is childhood friends with him and Tulin and Molli spend lots of time together and describes Teba as short-tempered, rude, and reckless, but they still look out for each other. But when Teba reveals his intentions of "blowing Medoh out of the sky", Harth is horrified to think that he would even go this far and exasperated at the thought of Saki losing a husband and Tulin losing a father since they need him in their lives.
After Vah Medoh is calmed due to Windblight Ganon's destruction, Revali's spirit takes back control and perches it on top of the tall pillar to take aim at Hyrule Castle where Calamity Ganon was sealed and its threat to the village came to a close. Harth's wing was healed enough for him to get back to his bow-crafting business and is more than willing to craft Link another Great Eagle Bow if that bow rewarded to him by Kaneli is lost or broken, but will require a Swallow Bow, a Diamond, and five bundles of Wood. As they are very pricey to make, Harth will recommend that Link find the Great Eagle Bow first in the event he loses it.
