A Ghost is a species of monster in the Dragon Quest. They are among the undead family of monsters in the games that they appear in.
Many enemies that have appeared in the first Dragon Quest game have appeared in many of the future games in the series. However, Ghosts never became nearly as popular as the Slime or Dracky. As such, they have appeared in comparatively few games.
