Daiki Iwamoto (born November 17, 1969) is an assistant producer at Nintendo, mostly involved in The Legend of Zelda series throughout his career at the company.
Biography[]
Iwamoto started as a programmer at Nintendo EAD and worked on some Mario and Zelda titles. After being the boss battle director on Four Swords Adventures, he became one of the lead planners of the Zelda franchise, directing Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks and The Wind Waker HD, and assisting on other titles.
In Skyward Sword, he was in charge of planning Skyloft and The Sky. He was also the assistant director of Breath of the Wild. With Tears of the Kingdom, Iwamoto was promoted to assistant producer.
Iwamoto is also a member of the board of directors of Monolith Soft.
