D, real name Dirk, is a non-playable character in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. He is a member of Moebius who was once an Agnian soldier.

Before he was Moebius, Dirk was an Agnian soldier known for his ruthlessness. He would keep the heads of the soldiers he killed as trophies and occasionally attack his own men, earning him the name Blackblaze Dirk. At some point Dirk died and became Moebius, becoming D. While a Moebius D massacred Colony 18, killing a past version of Eunie in the process.
Before the Ouroburos are formed, D is the first Moebius they encounter. D also kills Guernica Vandham by stabbing him through the chest. After sending a message to the other Consuls, D retreats.
D is later encountered at Keves Castle, where is able to interlink with Consul J, real name Joran. After a battle, he notices Eunie as one of the soldiers he killed at Colony 18. Taunting her, D fails to notice Taion's illusion, allowing him to destroy the Annihilator. D and J flee, cancelling their interlink.
D is finally encountered at the Cloudkeep with J. After the Ouroburos free the real Queen Nia, D promptly launches an attack that impales her through the chest, seemingly killing her. After a battle Noah, Lanz, and Eunie try to convince Joran to help them. D forces an interlink with J, but J throws the both of them off the Cloudkeep and refuses to cancel the interlink. As a result, an Annihilation Event occurs, devouring both D and Joran.
