Classic NES Series: Metroid is a Game Boy Advance port of the Nintendo Entertainment System classic Metroid that was part of the Classic NES Series. No alterations were made to the game from the original.

Some critics argued that the twenty price tag was too expensive seeing that one could already get the game for free by connecting Metroid Fusion to Metroid Prime as well as just remade as a part of Metroid: Zero Mission.
