Adenine is a Rare Blade in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. She can grant tremendous power to her Drivers, Rex, Nia, Zeke or Mòrag, and their allies. Adenine uses the wind element, wields Knuckle Claws, and acts as a Healer in battle. Adenine has a reedy silhouette, short turquoise hair, and has holes in her stomach, shins and ankles, inside which green light particles can be seen. She loves books and ancient tomes, so much that she carries one big book attached to a brace around her neck. She fights using Knuckle Claws resembling books, from where she casts spells. Her outfit is made of pages of books and leather straps, and she wears gauntlets made of bronze.
Adenine is a scholar, interested in learning and books. She speaks using a wide range of vocabulary. Additionally, she is excited at the prospect of new knowledge, the Tomes of Morytha in particular. She displays an unusual level of excitement at the idea of learning about the past and an ancient tablet, despite the rest of the party finding the idea to be rather dull. This doesn't distract her from her duties as a Blade, as she makes it clear that she will fight to the best of her ability when asked to do so.
