88 Heroes: 98 Heroes Edition is a 2D action platformer released for the Nintendo Switch where the player tries to scale a building taken over by Dr. H8 with various heroes.

Gameplay[]
The main gameplay is controlling a hero in a level with one of 98 randomly selected hero to traverse a level with the goal of completing 88 levels in 88 minutes. Each stage has a 88 second time limit. Each hero has unique abilities with several being ineffective at either platforming or attacking. Once a hero is killed, they cannot be used in that run again.
Version addition[]
The 98 Heroes Edition adds 10 new heroes including Rusty from SteamWorld Dig which increases total from 88 to 98. The game also adds 8 hard levels.
