Be Always Blooming

We have a new theme starting today at 
and it is 'Patterned Paper',
super~super EASY!!

I created a very simple card and an easy mailer...
after mailing out a birthday card and the postage was over $4
I decided it was time for some 'simple' cards!

For the card base I used a navy blue card stock.
I have a ton of pre-cut A2 card bases already cut from my
Stampin' Up days but seem to use mostly black, white or cream bases...
this is the year to change that!


I added a kraft card stock on that and then this gorgeous
paper I bought this year.
It is The Paper Boutique 'Moonlight Song' made in the UK.
It is a gorgeous pad of paper.

The label with the sentiment is Floral Labels from Find It Trading,
stamped with a new ink (to me) from Memento 'Paris Dusk.
The sentiment is an old one from Flourishes set Always Blooming 2013.

Lovely Heart Grass

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

 Hi, Diane with you today using the Tutti Designs
Lovely Heart Grass die.

 For the first card I die cut it from a pastel print paper
and adhered it to a Large Stitched Nesting Heart.
A pretty patterned bow was added to finish,


The second card I die cut form a patterned paper
then I hand drew stitch lines on the entire die cut piece.
this was adhered to a white doily and 4 glitter sparkle pieces were added.

Hello Challenge

A new challenge theme is up and running at 
Double D and it is 
Saying Hello...
you just need to have the word HELLO
somewhere on your project.

 We have a super mood board to get your creativeness going!!



I had fun with my card using a stamp I won from a challenge
at Memory Box.
This stamp is HUGE and I have only used a small portion of it.
It comes with several sentiments and smaller pieces as well.

 I used Distress inks and my ink blending brush,
added Versamark to the entire panel,
then embossed it with a clear embossing powder.
The hello I die cut 3 times then stacked one on the other.
It is from Paper Smooches.


Here is a closer look at the embossing .
It is much shiny IRL.
The pictures kind of make it look 'crackle-y but it really is not, just shiny.


This is a super easy challenge so hoping you will join us, we always have

Heart of Hearts Corner

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today

Hi Diane here today with the beautiful Tutti Designs die
Heart of Hearts Corner.

This die is so pretty and depending on how you
adhere it down it could easily be used as a pocket 
to hold a message or a gift card.

The first card is a large square card 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".
pretty easy too as all I did was add a pretty designer paper 
then added the die cut with a few glittered hearts added here and there.
I also added a bow and a Rose...easy!!


The second card is a large 6" x 6".
For this one I used a polka dot background then die cut
and sponged on some distress inks.
Flowers were added to one corner
and a ribbon and bow to the left side
with the cutest wood owl button!


I hope I have given you a few ideas using this die

Paper Sweeties February 2020 Look Back Inspiration - Day 3

Today is Day 3 of our
Look Back Inspiration at Paper Sweeties using
stamps and dies from previously releases.

 I absolutely love this card using the puppy from
'Sent From My Heart'
dies and stamp sets.

As you can see I stamped him on a tiny heart paper, then die cut him out.
The sentiment I used is from the same set.

 I also used the 'Kindness Matters'
stamps and Sweet Cuts sets for the flower wreath.

Paper Sweeties February 2020 Look Back Inspiration - Day 2

It's Day 2 of 'Look Back Inspiration'
at Paper Sweeties.

 My creation for today is using the VERY pretty
stamp and dies from 'Kindness Matters'.

I colored the pretty flowers on the wreath with Copics
and then added cute little hearts using
the Sweet Cuts dies from the
'Ewe Make Me Happy' set.

 I stamped the sentiment from the set using
another Sweet Cuts die from the
Stitched Tags #1 set.

 To finish it, Raspberry Sequins were added.

Baby Zebra Happy Birthday

Happy February 15th!
I hope your Valentines was full of hearts and romance!!

Design Team Member At

Today is not about hearts but all about
our new challenge theme at
Dies R Us....'Wild Thing'...meaning Wild Animals!

I had some fun with this one as I got to use my 
cute Baby Zebra for the first time!!


I used distress inks for the background (all links given below)
and applying it with the fabulous Picket Fence Blender Brushes...
I LOVE these brushes!!
I added IO grass and a tree from Precious Marieke.
The baby zebra is from Frantic Stamper...
and all those black pieces you see are applied separate...
really very easy by just looking at the packaging picture
of where they go.
I use a straight pin to apply tiny amounts of glue to each piece!

We have some exciting news to share with you.  .Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts.  


It will ship to both the US and Canada.  Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different.  Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

Paper Sweeties February 2020 Look Back Inspiration - Day1

Today is the first day of
Look Back Inspiration at Paper Sweeties.
We are using past released stamps and dies
and mixing them up to give you plenty
more inspiration to create with them.

 Today I used the cutest and I mean cutest set
'Sent From Heart' stamps and Sweet Cuts dies.

I created a fun little scene with the sweet puppy and 
mailbox included in the set.


I also used 'Handmade For You Accessories' set
for my clouds and stamped the little hearts hanging off them.

 For the flowers I used Raspberry Sequins.
