Well hello 'peeps"....in case you haven't guessed it by now
I am now a new Design Team member at Sparkle N Sprinkle.
I have been holding this news for a bit now
and am so excited to be able to announce it!
I love using their glitter, embossing powder,
beautiful stamps and other lovely products they carry in store!

I loved the stamps for this reveal.
I think they were made especially for me...
being I am a cat person and a flower gardener as well!

For my card I chose the cute
Sing On 768 (Digi Version DIGI768)
These kitties just made me laugh!
I printed out the already colored images
and fussy cut each one.

I thought they needed a few music notes,
so I cut a few on my Cricut Explore, then
used SNS Brushable Glue to apply to each note,
then sprinkled with Gypsy Red Velvet Glitter.

Next I die cut a  fence, covered it with Versamark,
sprinkled one of my favorite Fine Detail Embossing Powders on it
called 'Coffee', then used my heat gun to set it.
I love how the embossing powder adhered to the Versamark
and still allowing the wood grain of the fence to show through.

I hope you have enjoyed my project.....make sure you have read through
the entire post, as it has information on how 'YOU' can win the entire
new stamp release or digi's if preferred!

The next stop on the blog hop is BELINDA.

Sending Happy Thoughts

This is my post for the
Dies R Us inspiration blog today!

As much as I love the 'holidays'
it sure seems good to make just 'ordinary' cards again..
but I do love those Christmas dies I was able to use...so fun!

But today I have another fun die I was just 'itching' to try!
Frantic Stampers Tumbling Blocks.
I cut it twice, once from green card stock
and a second time from blue card stock.
You can achieve many different designs with this die
by using a variety of colors and arrangements...
making this a very fun die to work with!.

I adhered the blue frame over a piece of polka dot designer paper,
then used the cut out pieces from the green card stock
to 'piece in' where I wanted them.

I stamped a Flourish's stamp with SU Night of Navy,
then cut it out with Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles.

For a bit of elegance, I added a bow made from Really Reasonable Ribbon
topped with a Rose
and a few navy pearls.

Hi, Diane with you today!
After all the holiday rush and activities it sure feels good
to be back in the creative room again.

My card was made for our current challenge
"Let It Snow"
and I hope you will join in with us

I did a somewhat simple window winter scene
which I am calling Inside Looking Out.

I started with a pretty snowflake paper from
Wild Rose Frosted Lace 6 x 6 paper pad.

I cut two windows using
PoppyStamps Small Madison Window.
I cut one from the Frosted Lace Paper and used the negative,
then the second one from a scrap of white card stock
and popped it up over the negative using Joy! Foam Pads Small.

However, before adhering it down,
I cut a few snow banks, and
a few birch trees using Impression Obsession Birch Trees
and arranged both behind the window for my outside scene.

Snowflakes were cut from Impression Small Snowflake Set.
Each snowflake then was brushed with glue and coated with
Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice Glitter.

I finished with a winter wonderland sentiment I had on hand,
which I wish I had to use, it's so pretty!

A few sequins were also added for a bit of balance.

Thank you for visiting with me today!

Thank You

Yippee...Christmas is over for another year.....
Now its time to get those thank yous sent out!

I made a quick 'thank you' card using ALL Cheery Lynn Designs dies.

I first die cut Cheery Lynn Designs Lace Rose and Flourish
from white card stock.
I adhered it to a piece of vellum and colored it with my Copics.
Next I cut Cheery Lynn Designs Heart To Heart Lace Doily
and placed over the vellum...
I trimmed off all the parts of the Rose die cut
that were hanging out past the heart.

A Cheery Lynn Designs Bow was added to the bottom.

I used a Flourish's stamp for the thank you
and added a few sequins...a very fast thank you card!

One Little Baby

This is my post on the Dies R Us blog today!!

Merry Christmas Eve to you!!
Celebrating Christmas is all about a baby being born!
It just so happens that at Dies R Us a new baby boy
was born to the Dies R Us family as well!
Being a mother to a son born in December I know how
special it is to have a December baby...the best Christmas present ever!!

I decided to make a baby card to celebrate the occasion!
I used one of my very favorite embossing folders,
Quilt Blocks by Darice .

I embossed two panels, one in white and one in blue.
I cut the blue panel apart and paper pieced every other
quilt square blue.

A bit of rick rack was added to slightly separate the squares.

I stamped my sentiment using SU Curvy Verses
onto Spellbinders Lace Hearts.
These are no longer available here, but if you just type
in the word 'hearts' in the search column,
eight pages of hearts will appear...wow!!

I used Impression Obsession Sailboats,
cutting it 3 times.
Once from a white craft foam to build on,
once from a blue paper and once from a striped,
then it was all paper pieced  together.

To finish, I simply added a few blue sequins for a bit of 'bling'!

Don't forget to visit our 'sister' blog which is our Dies R Us challenge blog
and full of inspiration as well as a challenge for 'you' to join in
and a chance to win a prize!

Have a very Merry  Christmas!!

Winter Wonderland At The Shabby Tea Room

Our challenge for the next two weeks at The Shabby Tea Room is
Winter Wonderland and using the inspiration photo below!.

Our sponsor is the fabulous and super cute Paper Sweeties!

I started with a snowflake background for my card,
then cut a few stitched snow banks.

Using Paper Sweeties Holly Days Stamps,
I stamped 3 snowmen, colored in with my Copics
and a silver glitter pen.
I added tiny crystal gems to the snowflakes and the snowmen scarves.

These were easily cut out with the matching set of Holly Days Sweet Cuts.

A 'winter wonderland' sentiment was stamped in silver on the bottom
and a silver sparkle bow was added along with a 'flying' reindeer die cut!

Why not pop on over to The Shabby Tea Room,
see what the other 'shabby girls' have created...
I can tell you they have beautiful projects to inspire you.
Create a 'winter wonderland' yourself and you could be the winner
of the fabulous Paper Sweeties prize!!

Silent Night

This is my card and post for the challenge at
The theme is Silent Night Holy Night
and using the inspiration photo below.
You are welcome to use my discount code DIANE-10
to save 10% on your order anytime!

Hello, Diane with you today with my card for our latest challenge
Silent Night Holy Night.

Silent Night is my very favorite Christmas song of all.
Each and every Christmas Eve the hubby and I attend our small
and very old, out in the middle of no where country church.
At the end of the evening, candles are passed, lit, lights are turned off,
hands are joined and we all sing Silent Night....
a very beautiful way to spend Christmas Eve.

My card represents Christmas Eve.
All the kids are tucked in bed with visions of Santa
flying overhead,
The star is shining brightly, fresh snow on the ground,
and the dog has been let out for the last time before Christmas morning.

I used many 'snippets' of scrap papers for this card.
The dog is made form a very old piece of mulberry paper!

The products I used to make this card are
Super Gold Metallic card stock

Thank You

This is my post today at the
Classy Cards'n Such blog.
Sorry if I haven't been around much the last week or so
but our big family Christmas party is the 20th
and we have 23 kids coming plus adults....
well, you get the picture..lol!

Hi Diane with you today and guess what?
I have something besides a Christmas card to share..lol!

I have always loved the colors of lavender and yellow together.
I started the base of my card with a lavender card stock.
I added a white panel to that.
I used another piece of lavender card stock under
a die cut from Sue Wilson's Mini Striplet Rose Garden.

I ran two strips of Scor-Tape 1/4" down each side,
then sprinkled Sparkle N Sprinkle Lacey Lilac Glitter on each strip.

Next I made a bow
and adhered a Rose to the center.

The stamped sentiment is from the
JustRite Thank You Daffodil stamp set

A butterfly was added using Joy! Crafts Butterfly Trio.
To finish I added a few pretty Lavender Pearls.

Thank you for visiting with me today and have a Merry Christmas!!

Bringing Home The Tree

This is my post on the
Dies R Us blog today....

Hi there!
Do you put up a real tree?
And, if you do, do you go and cut it yourself?

We put a real tree up every year.
It is fresh cut the day we go and I always think
the tree is saying either 'pick me, pick me'
or 'not me, not me'...lol!

This card represents the "bringing home the tree' day!
Snow falling, tree in the back, deer beside the road,
nothing more fun that that!

For my card I used the dies listed below....
and how fun is that old truck....
wow, so many uses for it!

Visit us here Monday -  Friday for fresh new ideas using all the dies
Dies R Us has to offer.

Ornament Tag

This is my card for our new challenge
this week at Classy Cards 'n Such.
The theme is Starry Starry Nights
and using the inspiration photo below.
You are welcome to use my discount code
DIANE-10 anytime to save 10% on your order.

Hi there, Diane with you on the blog today!

This weeks challenge is Starry Starry Night.
Using the inspiration photo we were to use stars on our projects.

I have a large family, which means I have a large need for tags,
so I thought I would make a tag this week!

I started with two very basic Spellbinders dies,
the original circle die and the scallop circle die.

I cut the scallop circle from Luminized Curious Metallic card stock.
I used Memory Box Star Dust stencil to stencil
silver stars on the plain white circle.

An ornament was cut using Memory Box Classic Ornament,
which was cut from an embossed, metallic paper from my supplies.
A silver glitter star was added using a star punch.

To make the ornament more authentic looking,
I used just the top piece (ornament hanger)
from Impression Obsession Fancy Ornament.

I added Really Reasonable Ribbon and a bow, twine and jingle bells to finish.

I love how this will make a cute and pretty tie on for a package.
Thank you for visiting with me today!
