Augustus "Gus" Porter is a major protagonist in the Disney Channel animated series The Owl House.
He is a young and energetic witch from the Boiling Isles, who is a fan of and curious about humans and their culture, and an illusions prodigy student at Hexside who is one of Luz Noceda's best friends. He is also Willow Park and Hunter's best friend, and a close friend of Amity Blight. He helps them in numerous of their adventures across the Boiling Isles.
He is voiced by Isaac Ryan Brown as a teen and by Carter Jones as a kid.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- He distracted Bump by throwing some goo jars in the floor, allowing Luz to run away.
- He apologized to Luz for lying about her banishment being aborted.
- He saved Luz and Matt from the detention pit, despite the latter being a jerk.
- He and Willow tried to defeat the magic draining basilisk attacking Hexside.
- He helped Luz bring Owlbert back.
- He forgave King for shrinking him and Willow.
- He helped stand up for Willow against Boscha in a Grudgby game.
- He and Willow helped Luz when she tried to find a cure for Eda's curse in the Emperor's castle.
- He and Willow told Eda about Lilith kidnapping Luz.
- He and Willow interrupted his father's News Channel to get a crowd of people stand up against Eda's undeserved petrification.
- He helped Amity recruit Willow to save Luz from her mother.
- He stopped Bria and her friends from stealing Galderstones that they'd sell to the Emperor's Coven, as well as standing up to the Illusionist in the Looking Glass Ruins.
- He helped take care of a sick Luz.
- He tricked Hunter and Darius with illusions to escape from them along with the other Emerald Entrails.
- He exposed Adrian's attempt at putting "fake sigils" on Hexside students to protect them as a trap to actually put sigils on them, indirectly saving hundreds of children from suffering and dying from the Draining Spell. He also narrowly saved Amity's brother Edric in the process since he was the first candidate for this attempt.
- He guided Hunter through his illusion labyrinth in order to find the way out.
- He started trusting Hunter again and taught him Willow's breathing technique to calm down.
- He, Willow and Hunter helped in the rebellion against Belos by teaming up with Luz to break Amity out of her house and stop her family from continuing to help the Emperor with Abomatrons.
- He helped Luz in her plan to stop Belos by making her look like Hunter and Hunter look like her.
- He helped fight Belos by using Adrian's mirror enhancer that made Belos relive his worst memories.
- He helped Camila take care of the house and absorb all the new information after they got in the human realm.
- He made good company to Hunter and made him joyful during their stay in the human realm.
- He never told anyone Hunter was a Grimwalker, despite being aware of it for months.
- He fought against a Belos-possessed Hunter along with his friends.
- He praised Matt for his good leadership skills.
- He helped in the fight against Kikimora in her Abomaton suit.
- After being turned back into normal, he saved many puppetized inhabitants of the Isles along with the rest of the Hexsquad by using glyphs.
- Years later, he taught kids about the harmony between the Demon and Human Realms in the Boiling Isles' Wild Magic University and started a human student exchange program.
- Despite being very mischievous as he teased King for missing Luz so much, it is more out of playfulness instead of corrupting or jerkish.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- His most admirable action, stopping the Emperor's Coven from branding the Hexside students with coven sigilis, relies on Fridge Brilliance since he wasn't aware of the true nature of the sigils until after the threat was averted, believing they were just power restrictors and not tools of murder. Because of this, he fails the admirable standards to Luz Noceda and Amity Blight.

- Because Dana Terrace is open to continuing the series in the future, if Disney lets her, there is a possibility that his status could be affected.
