What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Shortly after his arrival on Modern City, Caesar experienced first-hand the brutality that the humans laid upon the apes, who have become slaves, and expressed his distaste for the treatment his kind was receiving.
- Following the death of his adoptive human father, Armando, Caesar decided to start a rebellion to free his kind from their enslavement with humans.
- While the Apes were viciously shooting at the workers of the Ape Management facilities for taking part on their enslavement, Caesar spared Malcolm McDonald, who was always a defender of the apes and helped him during his quest.
- Originally taking Governor Breck out into the streets to publicly execute him, Caesar changed his mind after hearing her lover Lisa speak, and realized that he and his kind should be better than humans, sparing the governor's life and deciding to wait for humanity to take itself out instead.
- In the following years after a nuclear war destroyed human civilization, Caesar created a new society where apes and the remaining humans lived together.
- He stopped Aldo and his followers from attacking a human teacher that said "No" to apes.
- When an army of mutant humans waged war on Ape City, Caesar leads his people against them and manages to defeat them.
- After his victory, Caesar made his people only capture the mutants instead of killing them and even allowed the remaining ones to escape.
- When Aldo tried to create a coup on Ape City by locking up all humans, Caesar ordered to have them free after the war.
- He also chased Aldo for committing treason and killing his son Cornelius, making him fall to his death when Aldo tried to attack him.
- In a flash forward we see that Caesar's society where humans and apes live together still stands strong 600 years later and well after his death making the races live in peace.
What Prevents him From Being Pure Good?[]
- Even though he built a colony for apes and humans to coexist, humans were still not treated as equals compared to apes and Caesar had to be convinced to change this after the war with the mutants.
