Erutan Revol is a protagonist character in Heroes of Might and Magic IV; The Winds of War. He was the elf warden of Arbor'al, the leader of the forces of the elves, a fanatical environmentalist and one of the conquerors how destroyed the kingdom of Channon.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

• He forces all the elf leaders and druids to go to war against Channon.
• He burns a village and kills all its inhabitants for no reason.
• He wants to destroy a pub for no reason (he just doesn’t do it because the owner was an elf).
• He attacks the red dwarves (who have nothing to do with the war) and the elves kills hundreds of them.
• He totally destroys the city of Ginvil. (He demolished the castle walls as well, breaks up the roads and demolishing every house built by human hands and the elves kill all humans.)
• On his side, he also destroys the city of Rylos to the ground.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

• His goal is minimally understandable, and therefore he is partly minor tragic.
• He really respects his elves and wants to lead them.
