"Most fatal hits" aren't what I brought up, I brought up KCM Naruto's attacks. Kabuto says this directly while Mu is preparing to summon Madara, with the damage from planteary rasengan not yet having begun healing. Conversely, the 3rd suffered only minor damage from Rasenshuriken and got up after seconds.

Planetary Rasengan works differently than Rasenshuriken. Planetary Rasengan grinds through opponants boddies with multiple counter-rotating Rasengan.

Rasenshuriken does cellular and chakra network damage. Even of it doesnt blow away the body, it does severe damage, even of hard to see. We seen this in its first use against Kakuzu. His chakra network was absolutely destroyed and his body had seemingly only scratches and scrapes, even his clothes were still intact. A3 being inconscious/immobile means that Rasenshuriken did exactly what it typically does and did hit him. Edo Tenseo just takes less time to heal that kind of damage

What are you arguing here? The reason Mu was so damaged was not because of Planetary Rasengan specifically. Kabuto says that Naruto's attacks in that state are simply so strong that Edo Tensei's regen is slowed down (chapter 558). There's no suggestion that it's only Planetary Rasengan that's that powerful, otherwise he'd just use that over Rasenshuriken (and he doesnt).

The Kakuzu example is a bad one. He was hit with the flat part of the blade (and for a matter of fact, had sections of his skin eroded away), whereas the 3rd took the actual cutting disc straight on. And yet he only had minor damage for ET to restore and was briefly knocked out.

Most of the Rasenshurikens damage happens in the giant ball after it expands. Kakuzu and A3 were both cought in the vortex and had pretty much identical wounds.

If A3 was knocked out that means it did a lot of damage...

Kakuzu was not hit with the bladed part though. A3 was hit with that, yet despite Rasenshuriken being stronger than Planetary, it did not leave A3 with delayed regen like Mu was, he was knocked out for about 2 seconds (he woke up the moment the sealing team tried to put him away). This suggests A3 is just so much more durable than Mu, which is definitely true.

Regarding the Rasenshuriken's ability to cut through chakra-based substances - it's likely to be true, but I don't think it should be added. We simply don't have a precedent of such a feat on Rasenshuriken's part, as opposed to Gentle Fist which actually was shown to cut Kidomaru's chakra-based web. The destruction of A's Lightning Cloak isn't a fitting example since the cloak isn't a substance but a layer of actual, lightning-natured chakra. As we know, wind is superior to lightning, so it's logical for a powerful wind jutsu to counter a powerful lightning jutsu.

I see yeah, most of the rasenshuriken examples showcase destructive capacity, and not necessarily dismantling chakra. Yet, I do think Tsunade's explanation and subsequent classification of the Rasenshuriken as a kinjutsu, as it relates to it's mechanism of attack, deserves mention.
