Hosu City (äæ (恻) 須 (恙) åø‚ Hosu-shi?) is a ward located in Tokyo, Japan.

It is the main setting of the Vs. Hero Killer Arc.

Description[]

Hosu City is a city district located to the west of Tokyo. Besides the Hosu General Hospital, the ward does not have any other known landmarks. Part of the district is attacked by Hosu Nomus.

The Pro Hero Ingenium was known to act in this district, but an attack from Stain left him paralyzed, ending his career. Other notable Heroes known to act in this district include Manual and Endeavor.

History[]

During a mission in Hosu City, Pro Hero Ingenium is attacked and struck down by the Hero Killer Stain. Tenya Ida is warned about this midway through the U.A. Sports Festival and abandoned the competition to meet his now crippled brother in the Hosu General Hospital.

Later, after having to choose a workplace to spend a week as an intern, Tenya goes here to train with Manual, with the intention of seeking revenge.[1][2]

As Tomura Shigaraki unleashes his Hosu Nomus in the district, Izuku Midoriya and Gran Torino are passing through it by bullet train, until they are attacked themselves.[2] In parallel, Endeavor and Shoto Todoroki are acting in Hosu City to stop the Nomus as well as to confront and capture Stain.[3]

Tenya is able to find Stain before he can kill Native in an alley. Tenya is no match, but Izuku and later Shoto come to his rescue, with the trio managing to defeat and capture the Hero Killer.[4] After the incident, Izuku, Tenya, and Shoto recover from their injuries in the hospital.

Trivia[]

  • Hosu is a reference to planet Hoth from the Star Wars universe.
