Tom Guadarrama served as technical director on Bear in the Big Blue House, and went on to direct several fourth season episodes. He subsequently worked on Sesame Street, first as technical engineer, and then beginning in Season 34, as a director. In addition, he also served as video/technical engineer on the Muppets View-Master Interactive Vision videos (Muppet Madness and Muppets Studios Presents: You're the Director) and Aliens in the Family.

Guadarrama has also served as technical director and/or video engineer on Between the Lions, Mitchell Kriegman's The Book of Pooh, Blue's Room, and Johnny and the Sprites.
