Tessie Twiddlebug

Tessie Twiddlebug is the mother of the Twiddlebug Family. Her husband is Thomas Twiddlebug, and her children are Timmy and Tina. They first appeared on Sesame Street in season 5.

Tessie, along with Thomas, can be seen in the large crowd of Muppets at the end of the "Rainbow Connection" finale in The Muppet Movie.

David Rudman performed Tessie during the late 1980s and 1990s. Camille Bonora performed her in "Get Along" and Episode 3037. Rickey Boyd voiced her in the computer-animated segments. Pam Arciero voiced the character for some animated videos produced for Sesame Workshop's outreach projects in 2024.
