Kermit appears from the home of Telly Monster to report on what monsters do on rainy afternoons.
Just as Telly explains that he practices his bassoon so he can play "Melancholy Monster Baby," his big sister Mona comes home. She claims that her name is Snow White, prompting Telly's explanation that she likes to use her imagination.
She details her rainy day activities as playing spaceship with forest animals, a game of checkers, and ordering pizza. After Kermit encourages her active imagination, she says he'd make a great rabbit. Pulling him off camera, Mona fixes him with rabbit ears and Kermit ends the news segment hopping away.
