Salida is a samba number performed at the Monster Disco on Sesame Street. Backed up by a group of music-playing Anything Muppets (two of them members of The Happy Squares), a Green Anything Muppet (voiced by Jerry Nelson) sang about the Spanish word "SALIDA", which was also indicated in a flashing sign atop the Disco's doors. By the song's end, the singer gets carried away with the song, so his band decides to physically remove him from the number.
