A two-time Emmy Award-winning designer, Paul Hartis joined the Jim Henson Company in 1988 as a puppet designer and project supervisor. From his 14 years on staff to 2010, Hartis built and/or designed over 150 puppets and supervised four television series, four commercials, and a movie. He was a spokesperson on a 10-city book tour for The Muppets Big Book of Crafts and an occasional puppeteer.
