Mitchell Bogard is a lighting designer/director who worked on several Muppet projects during the 1990s, including season 26 of Sesame Street and related specials and home video productions. Together with Bill Berner, Bogard was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for his work on Sesame Street.
Bogard's other television credits include Late Show with David Letterman, Ghostwriter, The Chris Rock Show, Between the Lions, Great Performances, Blue's Room, and The Rachael Ray Show. Bogard and Berner would share a Daytime Emmy win for their work on Between the Lions, with Bogard amassing other nominations for his work on Rachael Ray.
On stage, Bogard has been lighting designer for the Janis Brenner & Dancers company since the 1980s, plus various dance and theatrical productions (including work with Mike Nichols). Early in his career, Bogard worked as a puppeteer with Ken Moses' Pickwick Puppet Company.
