Kevin Hopps (b. 1951), also credited as Kevin Crosby Hopps, is a veteran TV writer working primarily in animation. He scripted a second season episode of the Muppet Babies revival, "The Froginizer."
Hopps began his writing career with sitcoms including Norman Lear's One Day at a Time, Good Times, and Maude, as well as Too Close for Comfort (with Ted Knight), Small Wonder, and Throb. He shifted to cartoons beginning with several Hanna-Barbera projects including The Smurfs, The Snorks, and The Jetsons special Rockin' with Judy Jetson. He moved to The Walt Disney Company, scripting for Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers and Adventures of the Gummi Bears, the Hercules series, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and as story editor on Darkwing Duck and others. He wrote for the later seasons of Animaniacs and Justice League. Later shows include The Lion Guard, Young Justice, and Star Wars: Rebels.
