John O'Brien (b. 1953) is an illustrator who graduated from The Philadelphia College of Art in 1975.
In 1996, he illustrated The Gift of the Magi Story Book Set & Advent Calendar.
He has illustrated over 100 children's books, and written eight. His work appears in many issues of Highlights for Children magazine, created seventeen covers and over 200 interior pieces for The New Yorker, and published cartoons in The Wall Street Journal, Washington Times, and many others.
