Jackie the Orangutan appeared in episode 211 of The Animal Show, where he told Stinky and Jake about orangutans and how their natural habitats are way up in the trees.

The puppet has made various background appearances in the show. In the episode "Pija & Chamois," he helps Dullard the Aardvark carry a mountain background on to the set at Stinky the Skunk's request and later off the set when Charlie the Chamois wanted a beach background following his interview. The puppet was later used for Lawrence the Orangutan on The Animal Show episode 322 in which he gave Armstrong a package of Chocky Hawkies. Additionally, the puppet resurfaced in several Puppet Up! shows, where his name was Professor Ape, as well as The Simian Undercover Detective Squad, where his name was Skreet.
