"It's Easy If You Pretend" is a Sesame Street song from Episode 0743.

The song begins with Bob singing to the kids about the ways they use their imaginations to play pretend, such as pretending to be a plane, or that their door is a castle gate. When the song turns over to Big Bird for the second verse, he gets even more creative with his suggestions, including making your dog a pencil or "[making] your day a lipstick." The third verse features even nuttier suggestions from Gordon, Maria, David, Biff, and a Muppet monster (Richard Hunt).
