COLD OPEN | Healthy Moment: Zoe says that dancing is a great way to move the body and makes a person healthy and strong. cut from the Hulu version
SCENE | Zoe welcomes the viewer and introduces them to her friend from ballet class, Carina the Ballerina. They're doing a ballet dance together. Elmo then joins them. Snuffy finds them and wishes to join. While they try to dance, Snuffy shakes the Earth with his leaps. He then knocks them all over when turning. Carina states he's too big for ballet and Snuffy goes off feeling sad.
SCENE cont'd | As he makes his way to Big Bird's nest, Snuffy sings a song about being too big. He tells Big Bird about his size issues. Big Bird reluctantly helps him try to get smaller. They put their heads together and deduce if he thinks small, he'll be small. He imagines himself being a mouse and starts squeaking. A mouse (Joey Mazzarino) rushes in, thinking he's his long-lost Uncle Harry.
SCENE cont'd | Since their idea has only given them an angry mouse and Snuffy a craving for cheese, Big Bird suggests they go play and pulls him through his doors. He then gives Snuffy the idea for an exercise to make him smaller. He starts doing some scrunching exercises, but can't coordinate his back and front and ends up seasick instead of small. Luis, Maria and Gabi come outside and learn of his problems. They tell him, with song, that he's the right size for a Snuffleupagus. The monsters come over to them, asking if they want to watch them dance. They then realize what Snuffy's feeling and apologize. Carina still thinks he's too big, but Maria suggests they adjust their dance to accommodate him. The monsters think it's a great idea and dance together.
