Shelley Duvall (1949-2024) was an American actor who appeared in films as diverse as Popeye and The Shining.
In the 1980s, she developed the series Faerie Tale Theatre, which featured many Hollywood celebrities portraying famous characters from children's literature. She followed that series up with Shelley Duvall's Tall Tales & Legends.
In 1978, during filming for The Shining, Duvall visited the set of The Muppet Show where she performed a background Muppet in episode 317.[1]
Later, she was interviewed for Muppet Magazine in the Summer 1986 issue.
Some of her other roles include appearing in Tim Burton's Frankenweenie short film, Time Bandits (with John Cleese), Roxanne (with Daryl Hannah and Steve Martin), Suburban Commando (with Hulk Hogan), and The Portrait of a Lady (with Nicole Kidman and John Malkovich).
