SCENE 1 Luis listens to some loud Pachanga music on his radio outside the Fix-it Shop. David complains of a headache, but Luis is too into his music and doesn't want to turn it down. David retaliates by getting his own radio from Hooper's Store and listens to some loud rock music. The two end up in a feud which Maria almost intervenes with, eventually giving up due to how noisy everything is. Oscar is delighted, though, and dances to all the ruckus. David and Luis apologize to each other, realizing that if Oscar enjoys it then they're doing something wrong. They discuss what each of them were listening to after turning off their radios, which disappoints Oscar.

He storms off followed by a concerned Maria, but Oscar observes the bad day that David is having, which makes him very happy.
