SCENE, cont'd | Young Gordon, Alan, and Maria have been recruited as Birdketeers, and they wave their arms outside. Baby Bear, Luis, and Miles congregate and wonder where the other adults are. Big Bird and the Birdketeers walk in, and the others note that the kids remind them of Gordon, Alan, and Maria. They leave and persist in trying to find them, however. | |
SCENE, cont'd | Big Bird and the kids take a break. Big Bird asks the young Alan to make a birdseed milkshake at Hooper's Store, but he doesn't know how. He then looks over at Hooper's Store and the Fix-It Shop, and notes the commotion going on. Big Bird regrets his wish, and wishes that everyone could go back to the way they were. | |
SCENE, cont'd | Fairy Godperson reappears, and reluctantly turns Gordon, Alan, and Maria back into adults upon Big Bird's command. The Fairy Godperson leaves to go home and clean his room, and Big Bird thanks Gordon, Alan, and Maria for coming back. They reason that while work is crucial in their lives, it's important to leave time for play as well. As they go back to work, several children ride up on tricycles and an instrumental snippet of "Somebody Come and Play" is heard. | |
