	COLD OPEN	Oscar appears as a director, giving directions to Slimey and co-star Susan Squoochy through a megaphone. He gives the two a few scenarios to react to, and when he asks them to act afraid they flee the scene completely. "You know what my problem is? They're too talented!"
	SCENE 1	At Hooper's Store, Gina, Mr. Handford, and Grouchketeers Kimmy and Nicole tune into WORM-TV to see Oscar's new "mud opera," As the Worm Turns. Slimey stars as Dr. Brad, with Susan as Crystal. Oscar narrates as the two prepare for a fishing trip at Lake Mudpie when their car runs out of gas on the way there. Will they make it to the lake? As the program pauses, the Hooper's gang discuss possible ways to solve the problem when Oscar teases that the real answer will be followed after these messages of importance...

	SCENE 2	As the Worm Turns resumes, where it is revealed that Dr. Brad and Crystal push their vehicle to the nearest worm gas station. Dr. Brad is too tired to drive, but Crystal has plenty of energy since she exercises more. What will happen? Another pause in the program gives Gina, Mr. Handford, and the kids time to guess what happens next. The program continues and Crystal takes the wheel while Dr. Brad rests. The two reach the lake and start fishing, when something big grabs onto the line. What is it? Stay tuned...

	SCENE 5	Mr. Handford watches Evan jump on her pogo stick, which reminds him of the one he had as a kid. In a flashback, he's seen bouncing on his own pogo stick when his mother tells him to stop and do his homework. In the present, he brags about being a pogo stich champion and shows Big Bird and the kids how he used to bounce using Evan's pogo stick. He misses a call from his mother on the phone, but Gina passes along the message: "Stop jumping and do your homework!"
