	SCENE 1 cont'd	Oscar comes up to awaken his little pal only to find that Slimey has gone missing! Olivia and Linda offer to help rally some friends to help look, and for once Oscar is grateful they're not Grouches since Grouches would hate to cooperate. They split up, while Oscar considers calling the police.

	SCENE 2	Officer Landon (Dale Soules) arrives to find everyone on the search for Slimey. She makes her way to Oscar's trash can and takes down a description of the missing person. When she learns that Slimey is a worm, she hands him a card instead and suggests he contact the Bureau of Missing Worms.

	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Ernie and Bert go off to sleep but Ernie starts to sing himself a lullaby. Bert then asks Ernie if he would mind singing quieter. So he does and then finds that he can even sing it the quietest. Bert then wonders what's going on and can't seem to go to sleep. Ernie then asks Bert if he's singing it to the extent that he can't hear him then why is he not asleep yet? (First: Episode 0841)

	SCENE 3	Oscar visits the Bureau of Missing Worms, where the Anything Muppet agent asks him some questions as to why Slimey would want to leave. Oscar shows his photo of Slimey to the agent, who breaks it to Oscar that finding Slimey won't be very easy, showing him dozens of photos of worms who look exactly like him.

	SCENE 4	Nobody has had any luck finding Slimey, until Linda points out someone they've forgotten to ask - the viewer. Olivia and Linda learn that Slimey had chased a butterfly and went over the fence in the yard. They head off to tell others to look in the park.

	SCENE 7	Everyone consoles Oscar, who is on the verge of tears without his worm. Mr. Hooper suggests he get a new worm since they all look alike, but Oscar balks at the idea: "Slimey's got depth! He appreciates a good argument, and he's got that funny little squint in his eye." Officer Landon pulls up on the street and reveals a surprise - Slimey! Oscar is overjoyed to see his worm again, safe and sound. Telly Monster announces the sponsors.
	CLOSING SIGNS	The Count holds the Sesame Street sign, while Maria holds the CTW sign.
