Meanwhile, Big Bird and Snuffy decide to leave to catch a Shirley Temple movie, meaning that when David brings everybody to Big Bird's nest, neither the bird nor his friend are there. The grown-ups scoff at David's attempt at a "joke" and leave. Moments later, David hears Big Bird and Snuffy behind the doors again, deciding to watch TV as they've already seen the movie they heard about. David is tempted to see Snuffy for himself, but gives it a second thought and decides not to bother. | |
