David Shaw Parker is an actor, primarily in radio, who was heard in The Muppet Christmas Carol as the voice of Old Joe.
The actor began his career with The Royal Shakespeare Company. His radio credits include the 2003 Rumpole of the Bailey series (as "Fig" Newton and others), Signs and Wonders, and various installments of The Afternoon Play anthology. TV credits include appearances on Inspector Morse, Casualty, Space Precinct, and various voices on the animated series PC Pinkerton.
