David Roth was a television director who worked on Sesame Street during the second season, alternating with Robert Myhrum.

Roth had worked with Myhrum on the soap opera The Secret Storm. More often an associate director, Roth's credits include Armstrong Circle Theatre, What's My Line?, and the New York Philharmonic Young People's Concerts.
