The Crown-Grabber was one of the three monsters created by Jim Henson for a Wheels, Crowns and Flutes commercial. In Jim Henson's Designs and Doodles, he's described as a hulk of a monster with a Boris Karloff accent and teeth that resembled giant knitting needles. Although the commercial went unaired, the puppet later became Beautiful Day Monster.
