Bill Charmatz (1925-2005) was a cartoonist and illustrator who contributed to the early years of Sesame Street Magazine.
Charmatz was a regular artist for Sports Illustrated and also contributed to TV Guide, The New York Times (notably frequent cartoons for The New York Times Book Review), and Esquire. He wrote and illustrated children's books, including The Little Duster and The Cat's Whiskers, and Endeerments (a collection of punny, deer-based cartoons).
