Holdgruen working on the Turtlepuss Unisaur from Dinosaurs
Ann Marie Holdgruen (also credited as Ann Marie Timinelli) is a puppet designer/builder who has worked for the New York Muppet Workshop since the 1980s. Although she built many puppet characters for Henson, she was one of the very few who was patient enough to build Kermit the Frog. She was also the builder of choice for Big Bird's head.
With Sesame Street, she has won four Daytime Emmy Awards and has been nominated for seven others. Her 1999 win with the Sesame team actually bested her nomination with the Bear in the Big Blue House team.
