Fall Formal Crown[]

Some people have been wondering why Celestia just used a crown Sunset Shimmer found for the Fall Formal instead of buying one, right? Here's what I think: A few days ago, Celestia and Luna were discussing the crown, and Luna told Celestia she'd buy one. When Sunset returned it, Celestia assumed Luna bought it but lost it, and Luna probably liked the night since she's the princess of it in Equestria. The crown had a star on it, which is part of the night, so Celestia assumed that as more evidence that Luna bought it. Luna assumed that Celestia bought it, and the star represents the sun. ACTUALLY, seeing as though there was a fake crown to replace with Twilight's, that the crown was already made by one of the two, or simply purchased, and Sunset Shimmer just snooped in the office for a little, to see what her future crown would look like. She took it, seeing that is looked like one of the crown holding the Element of Harmony for magic (something she learned from her studies with Princess Celestia) She took into consideration that she could do a lot with just one, the MAIN Element of Harmony, so she took the one for Canterlot High, and went to Equestria to switch it out with the one with the Element of Harmony, assuming that she was running unopposed, she's get Princess, have the crown with the Element of Harmony, and well...the rest is history. Good story. Only one addition. Probably likeness of two crowns was not a coincidence. It could be Sunset, who proposed the design of the crown, so it could resemble Element of Magic, planing to use it as a decoy.--Wizeman (talk) 08:16, August 13, 2013 (UTC)

Dominant hands[]

There may be some slight indications on what is the dominant hand of each of the mane six ponies, at least in their human counter-parts.

1.) Fluttershy is seen at 20:46 eating her salad with Twilight Sparkle, and is using her left hand to hold the spoon. This perhaps may be a subtle hint from the animators indicating that Fluttershy is a lefty.

2.) Twilight Sparkle is shown grabbing the pen from Pinkie Pie instinctively with her right hand at 22:29. Pinkie Pie then makes a remark claiming that Twilight has probably, “Never held a pen before.” Again, perhap

s another subtlety created by the animators.

3.) Applejack is seen at 23:21 drawing on a balloon with her left hand. Cuyut (talk) 00:34, September 19, 2013 (UTC)

4.) When the song, "Time to Come Together" begins, at around 51:13, we get to see all of the mane 6 place their hands together in a huddle. We first see Applejack place her left hand in, followed by Rarity’s right hand, Rainbow Dash’s left hand, Pinkie Pie’s right hand, Fluttershy’s left hand, an

d lastly, Twilight places her right hand in for the break. From the previous three points hinting at Fluttershy’s left handedness and Twilight Sparkle’s right handedness, and Applejack's left handedness respectively, and seeing how they correspond with this scene, and the fact that hand huddles do not favour any hand and are generally just done upon instinct, we can conclude that 3 of the mane 6 are lefties: Fluttershy, Applejack and Rainbow Dash. About number 2, Pinkie likely was referring to the way Twilight held the pen; if you were holding a pen, would you do it like that? You are correct about that Pinkie was most likely referring to the way Twilight held the pen. However, the fact that Twilight still instinctively grabbed the pen from her mouth with her right hand first and not with her left hand, hints at the possibility that Twilight is naturally right-handed. I may be wrong (if I am, do correct me) but during the Cafeteria Song at one point, Rainbow Dash spins a tray (or was it a glass?) on her left hand (one of the fingers). Human doubles[]

I wonder where is Sunset Shimmer's human double? Hard to believe that such ambitious personality would be unnoticed. Also it's not that simple with Luna and Celestia. In Equestria they are more than 1000 years old. So either existence of all doubles in a mysterious way is connected to time of the series, or their alter egos have some swords in their closets.--Wizeman (talk) 05:32, August 9, 2013 (UTC)

For that matter, where are the Twilight Sparkle and Spike indigenous to the "Equestria Girls" universe.  [Did the Friendship is Magic Sunset Shimmer capture or divert them upon her arrival?  Did they die in a car wreck long before the time frame of the film?]  Perhaps we'll meet them in a future episode -- hint, hint.  [Maybe they moved to town less than a week after their counterparts returned home (Personally, I'd like to see Princess Twilight Sparkle figure out how to visit the Equestria Girls universe by some other means as herself and meet her counterpart, who had already made friends with the other five by that point or the pony will have to teach the human what she learned about friendship)]  As for the Sunset Shimmer counterpart, maybe the FiM Sunset Shimmer tied her up and hid her.  Or she might not live there yet either.  They might get the opportunity to meet each other at some point.Vern4760 (talk) 12:38, September 30, 2013 (UTC)

I just rewatched the film and I may have seen something that might suggest where the indigenous Twilight Sparkle and Spike might be.  Pinkie Pie asked Twilight if she has a twin sister living in the city who has an identical dog named Spike.  Was this her "just being Pinkie Pie" or had she met the indigenous Twilight Sparkle prior to the film - long enough to have a vague memory of her, but not long enough to really know her.  If this were the case, it would suggest that that Twilight might live in Canterlot, but attends a different school.  It could also explain where the counterparts to Cadance and Shining Armor are.  They're with that Twilight.Vern4760 (talk) 12:37, October 3, 2013 (UTC)

How did Human Pinkie know why Twilight needed the Fall Formal to be held that night, and down to the tiniest detail at that? And how did Pony Pinkie know why Pony Flash Sentry reminded Twilight of Human Flash Sentry, also down to the tiniest detail? Could it be that Human Pinkie and Pony Pinkie are in cahoots? Diffeences between Equestria Girls[]

Ok bronies, Sci-Twi is clearly different than the Twilight we know and love, but the other humans actually a lot different fro my heir Ponyville punter parts too.

• Flutershy gets braver a lot easier and faster
• Rainbow Dash has a more liking of sports
• Trixie takes longer to reform and feel remorseful
• Snips and Snails are more bad
• Flash is a bit more of a jokester while his pony counterpart is more serious
• Cheeilee frowns more often
• Granny Smith is more heavyset
