ഇന്ത്യൻ ഉപഭൂഖണ്ടത്തിൽ പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് തെക്കേ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ നീലഗിരിക്കുന്നുകളിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു അപൂർവ്വശലഭമാണ് ആരരാജൻ (Indian Awl King). ശാസ്ത്രനാമം: Choaspes benjaminii.[2][3][4][5][6] ശ്രീലങ്ക, തായ്വാൻ, മലേഷ്യ, മ്യാൻമർ, ജപ്പാൻ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലും കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. തിളങ്ങുന്ന പച്ചനിറത്തിലുള്ള ഈ ശലഭത്തിന് 60 mm നീളമുണ്ട്. ഇവയുടെ ലാർവകൾ മിലിയോസ്‌മ ജനുസിലെ സസ്യങ്ങളുടെ ഇലകൾ ഭക്ഷിച്ചു വളരുന്നു.
