Sector 3 Emergency Situation (セクター3緊急事態発生)[1] is a frantic theme in Metroid Fusion. It was composed by Minako Hamano and Akira Fujiwara.
It begins playing as Samus is leaving Sector 5 (ARC) after obtaining the Ice Missile data, when she reaches the tall shaft outside the sector's Navigation Room, Save Station and Recharge Station. The theme is accompanied by blaring red lights and the computer voice repeatedly saying "Emergency in Sector 3". The theme includes an alarm as well.
It continues as Samus uplinks with the Adam computer in the Navigation Room, where it explains that the X Parasites have set off the Main Boiler cooling system. The theme transitions into Sector 3 Restore the Cooling Installation Timer Mission as Samus rushes to Sector 3 to avert the pending explosion.
