A man and a woman have tragically died after being found with serious injuries at a property in Holstein Way, Thamesmead. Emergency services responded shortly before 3 pm on March 11 following concerns raised about the welfare of the occupants. Upon entry, both individuals were discovered seriously injured and were pronounced dead at the scene. Two Found Dead In Thamesmead Police Incident Chief Superintendent Trevor Lawry, leading policing efforts in Bexley, addressed residents' concerns, stating: ???I know many residents in the local area will be questioning why police are carrying out enquiries within Holstein Way. We are currently investigating the death of two people, which was unexpected and unexplained.??? Two Found Dead In Thamesmead Police Incident ???At this early stage, we are working closely with officers and local authorities to establish the circumstances surrounding these deaths. We believe that the two individuals were known to each other and are not seeking anyone else in connection with this incident at this time." A crime scene remains in place while investigations continue. The next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. Police enquiries into the circumstances of this incident are ongoing.

Release date March 11 2025. A man has described the terrifying moment he was stabbed with a 15-inch 'Rambo' knife - while onlookers filmed on their phones. The victim, aged in his 20s, suffered internal bleeding after his kidney was damaged and was admitted to St George's Hospital in Tooting, south London. He is now speaking out as part of a hospital campaign to tackle knife crime. St George's recently became the UK???s first hospital to install a secure bin to anonymously dispose of knives, it said - with 87 dangerous weapons already surrended on site. The stab victim, who is not being named, said: ???I didn???t even know I???d been stabbed at first. "I felt a sharp pain, then it was hard to breathe and I could feel a wetness ??? that???s when I looked down and saw the knife sticking out of me. "I was losing blood and was trying to get away from there ??? people were standing around filming on their phones. ???Coming into hospital is a blur, I don???t really remember it. I had an operation that saved my life, but it???s not just the wounds that need to heal ??? I???m still trying to process what happened and deal with the trauma."

The incident occurred at around 5:35pm on Surrey Quays Road, near Canada Water, prompting a major emergency response.
